Editor- Sue

Vintage expert and Manchester based vintage lifestyle blogger Susie found there was a lack of anywhere on the web to find events, venue’s, exhibitions that were vintage in nature, yet also in Manchester. There was stuff going on of course, but it was dotted around the world wide web.

So Vintage Manchester was born!

Susan started life on the internet as  Old Fashioned Susie AKA Susan Earlam.

Susie loves a good rummage at a car boot sale or Vintage Fair and has too many handbags. You are as likely to find her at home with her family as you are drinking Mojito’s at one of Manchester’s Tiki bars.

Follow her tweets @OldFashionedSus and of course @VintageMCR

Contributor- Charlotte

Charlie has a love of all things vintage – clothes, shoes, accessories, homewares – she’s not afraid to buy it, particularly if it appeals to her love of the quirky and individual. When not shopping, she drinks gin, knits, runs various craft groups, is a WI committee member, runs (half marathons) and works a day job.

Despite her occasionally manic schedule, she has recently discovered a love of writing and now writes about her adventures in Manchester – whatever they may be.

Charlie’s blog can be found at Ginfuelled Bluestocking and can be found on twitter @The_Lady_Sybil.

Contributor Helen

Helen is a twenty-something clothes-hoarding, vintage-obsessive shopper.

Since she was knee-high to a grasshopper she has spent most weekends armed with an open-mind and heaps of small change visiting charity shops and church fairs rummaging for fabulous buys.

In that time she’s amassed some serious second-hand booty and learned that one man’s rubbish truly can be another (wo)man’s treasure.

Helens blog is Mancunian Vintage and you can follow her tweets @Manc_Vintage

Contributor- Adele

Adele is a Manchester based student with a passion for vintage clothing, styling, movies and music. She dreams of one day owning a home decked out in 50’s memorabilia and Art Deco furniture.

When she’s not working on her degree she enjoys amateur portrait photography, in particular shooting bands or musicians, and writing for her blog, My Last Dollar Dress, where she documents her vintage lifestyle and tries to find the perfect pin-curl set for her stubborn mane.

Most days she can be found tapping away at her keyboard, fawning over dresses she can’t afford online, and hunting down hidden Manchester gems such as tiny tearooms, bargain charity shops and cosy live venues.

Adeles own blog is My Last Dollar Dress and she tweets as @lastdollardress

As Vintage Manchester’s resident gentleman, G.M. Norton aspires to better himself in the ways of old while showing the world that old-fashioned doesn’t mean outdated.

When he’s not doffing his hat around the fine city of Manchester, he can be found spear in hand as he continues on his quest to lead a gentlemanly existence.

As a stickler for punctuality, G.M. Norton writes a blog post every Saturday at 4 o’clock over at Norton of Morton. He also witters on Twitter @nortonofmorton
