Film: Brief Encounter (1945) Christies Charity Afternoon Tea
Get down the the beautiful Stockport Plaza cinema on the 27th May to support The Christie hospital by attending a special afternoon tea and film event with a screening of the magnificent 1945 feature film Brief Encounter. The whole programme includes an organist, newsreel, short film, the main event (86 mins) plus pre or post tea.
With pre or post show options for a sublime afternoon tea or simply join us for the film, proceeds will go to the excellent work in the heart of our community undertaken by The Complementary Therapy Team at The Christie who offer various therapies to the patients and carers alike to support them through a cancer diagnosis and treatment.
