Name: Alice Kitty Wink
Occupation: Makeup and hair artist with an enthusiasm for vintage. I style for special occasions, events, photo shoots and workshops. I also organise a networking group for small vintage business owners in the North West. www.kittywinkvintage.co.uk
Theme of the photoshoot: 1920s Vamp! I took the opportunity to try a completely different look. I was thrilled with how they styled me, so much so that I recently had my hair cut into a very short 1920s-inspired bob.
Future use: I’ve already used one of the shots of on the footer of my website. They’ll make great publicity shots for my website and stationary/business cards etc – hopefully people won’t expect me to look like that when they meet me though – ahh the pressure! They are truly beautiful, artistic images and something I will treasure forever.
Simon Hunt is a fashion and portrait photographer that runs Alt Studio, which is a photography studio that specialises in vintage makeovers and tattoo portraits. Simon contributes the Vintage Portrait Series.
By using expert hair and make-up artists and his unique style of photography he creates beautiful vintage styled portraits during fun photo-shoots in his Manchester studio.

Alice is very photogenic indeed. I always thought she should have been a model in ‘real life’. She knocks the socks off a lot of professional models that’s for sure! And congratulations to Simon for creating such beautiful images.
