So we haven’t even got to Christmas yet but we are all for a bit of forward planning when it comes to partying. We’ve hand-picked our top three new years eve events that have a vintage leaning right here in sunny Manchester…

The Castle Hotel, 66 Oldham Street, Manchester M4 1LE

The Castle are doing a 60′s themed Woodstock event and its free- just get there early in your best sixties gear.

The Bridgewater Hall, Lower Mosley Street, Manchester, M2 3WS

If you fancy getting a touch more glamorous then put on the Ritz at the Camerata Gala. With a promise of circus performers and vocal harmony groups before the concert and then some operatic favourites, all finishing by 10:30pm giving you enough time to stroll into the city centre to soak up the atmosphere and watch the now infamous Manchester fireworks.

The Liars Club, 19A Back Bridge Street, Manchester, M3 2PB

If Tiki is more your thing then how about a good old fashioned Zombie Fest! Look out for some zombie fancy dress and some cute tiki outfits, and of course lots of rum! Tickets are £5.
