The Cinnamon Club is situated in Bowden, Altrincham in South Manchester. With a fully sprung maple dance floor, and an arched ceiling towering above you at over forty feet, it is a great venue, and for New Years Eve 2011, they are stepping back in time to the 1920’s.

Here at Vintage Manchester we like to plan ahead, it gives us time to sort out our outfits! Dig out those flapper dresses, your black ties and tails and get on the dance floor for an evening of fun and frivolity as you welcome in The New Year.

The entertainment is courtesy of 52 Skidoo. They are, “…an unlikely collections of drunks, gamblers, misfits and outlaws performing Harlem Swing, a music born out of the 1920′s stide piano style made famous by James P Johnson and Fats Waller. They formed after a chance meeting whilst looking for unfinished bottles of wine at a New Years’ Eve party in 1929. This lead to a mass brawl, multiple arrests and ultimately, the formation of the band.”

Sounds right up our street!

Tickets are £59 (+booking fee’s etc) and include a meal.
