North West Burlesque Society Meeting
This Sunday- August 19th see’s TV21′s in the Northern quarter play host to the monthly North West Burlesque Society meeting- but this month its free!
Serving as in introduction for new members, “So whether you’re a new or established performer, a promoter, someone who is thinking about treading the boards, or someone who has an interest in all things burlesque and/or the vintage scene please come and join us.”
Its 4pm until 8pm but if you really want to jump in the deep end there are a couple of workshops on earlier in the day, “Pin-Up Posing On Camera” and “De-Mystifing the Merkin”! For more details on the workshops ran by Anna Fur Laxis go here- you need to book in advance.
