Vintage Portraits- Clare
Here is the second part of the series,Vintage Portraits, contributed by the very talented Simon from Alt.Studio in Manchester’s Northern Quarter.
Sitter Profile:
Name: Clare Dutton
Occupation: I am the designer/maker for my own jewellery and accessories company – Dolly Cool. Dolly Cool is inspired by my love of the 50s, rockabilly, tattoos and kawaii/cute things and I hand draw, sculpt and make from scratch each and every piece of my jewellery and accessories. I am not just another “buy in some charms from China and stick it on a chain” company!
My website is: www.dollycool.co.uk
Theme of the photoshoot: I took along my 2 favourite outfits and let Nikki the MUA and stylist do whatever she wanted. Its definitely a rockabilly look though – which reflects pretty much how I dress and look most of the time (well, not half as glam as the shots, obviously!)
Future use: It was all just a bit of fun for me. Something to look back on when I’m old and wrinkly!
